Technische Universitat Berlin Campus El Gouna (TUBCG) Scholarship Program

Technische Universität Berlin is the first German university to operate a campus in Egypt, since 2012, wholly based on the quality criteria of the Federal Republic of Germany. The campus aims at reinforcing Egypt’s reputation as a venue for scientific research and technology. The TUBCG Scholarship Program provides full tuition scholarships for Egyptian students seeking to earn a Master Degree in Water Engineering, Energy Engineering and Urban Development at the Technische Universität Berlin Campus El Gouna. Eligibility Criteria:

  • To be an Egyptian national residing in Egypt (preference will not be given to dual nationality holders)
  • Hold a bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent Meet TUBCG’s entry requirements for the master degree programs
  • English language proficiency is required. Valid TOEFL IBT or IELTS exam scores with a minimum of 87 for TOEFL IBT and 6.0 for IELTS
  • Completion of the master’s program in 2 academic years The scholarships are awarded based on financial need as well as merit and character demonstrated through academic excellence, extracurricular activities, and social behavior
  • Work in Egypt for a minimum of two consecutive years after graduation.

Application Process:

  • Students who fulfill the eligibility criteria apply directly through TUBCG’s application process. Application is found on the TUBCG official website • To be considered for the SFSD- TUB Scholarship Program, applicants must send out their application no later than February 28th • Documents required in the application: CV, final academic transcript, motivation letter (1-2 pages), proof of work experience (if any), proof of income (if applicable), and of community engagement, English language proficiency test score and passport copy • Only shortlisted candidates are invited for the personal interview with Sawiris Foundation for Social Development and TUBCG .
