Sawiris Distinction Scholarship for Public High School Graduates
The Sawiris Distinction Scholarship is a fully-funded scholarship providing up to 50 opportunities for outstanding Egyptian students to obtain high-quality university education at leading Egyptian universities in Egypt.
The scholarship provides an outstanding academic experience for students in various important fields to support the future of the Egyptian economy, which qualifies them to obtain competitive job opportunities after graduation.
The Sawiris Foundation has selected Aspire for Strategic Solutions to manage the Sawiris Distinction Scholarship cohort 4 for academic year 2024/2025
SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS:
- The scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation for students studying outside of their governorates, stipends, books, educational materials and a laptop.
- English skills development programs.

- Engineering - Science - Information Technology - Economics and Political Science - Commerce - Mass Communication - Law - Agriculture - Nursing
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
- To be an Egyptian national residing in Egypt (preference will not be given to dual nationality holders)
- To be a graduate of Egyptian Thanwya Amma public schools in 2024/2025 with a score no less than 90%.
- Proof of applying for for the Academic Program and meeting all the program prerequisites. Students applying for programs in English language will need to demonstrate minimum proficiency level required by the University.
- Applicants must not have lived abroad for more than three years.
- Applicant must be committed to work in Egypt for 3 years after graduation and completing military service, when applicable.
- Priority will be given to students with demonstrated financial need, academic excellence, engagement in extracurricular activities, and Takaful and Karama Program beneficiaries.
- Students from Governorates of Fayoum, Minia, Assiut, Sohag and Qena
Selection as a nominee for the Sawiris Distinction Scholarship does not guarantee university acceptance. Applicants must apply to their desired universities from the list of selected universities and programs

APPLICATION PROCESS:
Interested Students to apply for the scholarship should follow the following steps:
- Apply for the academic program of the Partner University. Student must meet the minimum admission requirements at the partner university of their interest.
- Provide Proof of English Language Proficiency when applying for English based Academic programs.
- Prepare all the required documents for the application.
- Complete the online application for the Sawiris Distinction Scholarship using the following LINK.
- Provide Student Placement Number in the application. Sawiris Foundation will check scores of shortlisted applicants, using placement numbers.
